Thank you for your support of The Green Chair Project! We are excited to host Boys Team Chairty for your August meeting. If you are planning to join for any volunteer work, please sign up for the event by following all steps below. We are unable to register a minor on-site without a parent or guardian present, so please be sure to register ahead of time.
1. Click the blue "respond" button and either sign in or register for an account.
2. To register for an account: complete step 1, "create an account," and step 2, "qualifications." Be sure to sign the volunteer waiver. For minors, the waiver will be a two-step process, where the volunteer signs and then a parent/guardian receives an email to sign as well.
3. Go back to the event page. Click the blue "respond" button again and complete registration steps.
4. You will receive a confirmation email titled "Confirmation: The Green Chair Project Volunteer Shift." If you do not receive the confirmation email, check that you have successfully completed all steps above. If you still have difficulty, please email volunteer@thegreenchair.org.
Volunteer Requirements:
- The minimum volunteering age is 13. Volunteers ages 13-15 must be accompanied by an adult (18+). An adult can accompany more than one minor.
- If a minor is accompanied by an adult, both must register for an account and sign up for a volunteer spot ahead of time.
- All minors must have a parent or guardian sign the minor release form prior to registering for a volunteer shift. The release form will be available once your register for an account.
Attire:
- Closed-toe shoes are required for safety purposes.
- Please wear comfortable clothing you can move around in and do not mind getting dirty (e.g. exercise clothes, jeans, sneakers).
