volunteering with The Green Chair Project! We look forward to seeing you. Please read through all of the information below and
reach out to volunteer@thegreenchair.org if you have any questions.
During your volunteer shift, your group will be helping to set up and stage furniture packages for the families we serve. You may also be asked to assist with other tasks such as cleaning or organizing donations.
Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing you can easily move around in. Please note that closed-toe shoes are required for safety purposes. We have areas where you can change clothes if needed as well as lockers on site to store your belongings.
How to sign up to volunteer:
- Click the blue "respond" button and either sign in or register for an account.
- To register for an account: complete step 1, "create an account," and step 2, "qualifications." Be sure to sign the volunteer waiver.
- Go back to the event page. Click the blue "respond" button again.
- Register for the event.
- You will receive a confirmation email titled "Confirmation: The Green Chair Project Volunteer Shift." If you do not receive the confirmation email, check that you have successfully completed all steps above. If you still have difficulty, please email volunteer@thegreenchair.org.
