Thank you for volunteering with The Green Chair Project! We look forward to seeing you. Please read through all of the information below carefully, and reach out to volunteer@thegreenchair.org if you have any questions.
During Saturday donation drives, volunteers assist with collecting donations and sorting items as needed. Please wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing. You may be working outside for some or all of your shift. You are welcome to bring a water bottle and snacks/lunch. Breaks will be provided as needed.
When you arrive, please park in the back lot along the tree line (furthest from the building). Enter through the back door on the far left, where you will sign in for your shift and receive further instructions.
How to sign up to volunteer:
Please ensure that you have completed ALL steps below to reserve your spot.
- Click the blue "respond" button and either sign in or register for an account.
- To register for an account: complete step 1, "create an account," and step 2, "qualifications." Be sure to sign the volunteer waiver.
- Go back to the event page. Click the blue "respond" button again.
- Register for the shift(s) of your choice.
- You will receive a confirmation email titled "Confirmation: The Green Chair Project Volunteer Shift." If you do not receive the confirmation email, check that you have successfully completed all steps above. If you still have difficulty, please email volunteer@thegreenchair.org.
