Expected Duties:
During our Veteran's Day donation drive, volunteers will help collect items from cars and sort items as needed. You may be working outside for some or all of your shift.
Attire:
Please arrive for your shift wearing closed-toe shoes as well as comfortable clothing you can move around in and do not mind getting dirty (e.g. exercise clothes, jeans, sneakers).
How to sign up to volunteer:
Please ensure that you have completed ALL steps below to reserve your spot.
- Click the blue "respond" button and either sign in or register for an account.
- To register for an account: complete step 1, "create an account," and step 2, "qualifications." Be sure to sign the volunteer waiver.
- Go back to the event page. Click the blue "respond" button again.
- Register for the shift(s) of your choice.
- You will receive a confirmation email titled "Confirmation: The Green Chair Project Volunteer Shift." If you do not receive the confirmation email, check that you have successfully completed all steps above. If you still have difficulty, please email volunteer@thegreenchair.org.
