Thank you for volunteering with The Green Chair Project! We look forward to seeing you. Please read through all of the information below carefully and reach out to volunteer@thegreenchair.org if you have any questions.
During your volunteer shift, you may be asked to assist with a combination of the following:
- Cleaning and processing donations
- Packing items for clients
- Cleaning and organization projects
- Outdoor beautification projects (e.g. planters, garden, front porch, etc.)
- Additional projects as needed
Volunteer guidelines:
- Please arrive for your shift wearing closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing.
- There are lockers on site to store your belongings if needed.
- The minimum volunteer age is 13. Volunteers ages 13-15 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
- All minors must have a parent or guardian sign the minor release form prior to registering for a volunteer shift. The release form will be available once your register for an account (see steps below).
- If a minor is accompanied by an adult, both must register for an account and sign up for a volunteer spot ahead of time.
How to sign up to volunteer:
Please ensure that you have completed ALL steps below to reserve your spot.
- Click the blue "respond" button and either sign in or register for an account.
- To register for an account: complete step 1, "create an account," and step 2, "qualifications." Be sure to sign the volunteer waiver.
- Go back to the event page. Click the blue "respond" button again.
- Register for the shift(s) of your choice.
- You will receive a confirmation email titled "Confirmation: The Green Chair Project Volunteer Shift." If you do not receive the confirmation email, check that you have successfully completed all steps above. If you still have difficulty, please email volunteer@thegreenchair.org.
